Abling usually have multiple projects operating at the same time, each with a team of seasoned professionals. When we take on a project, we introduce you to the team who will be taking your work forward. We don't use the "bait-and-switch" technique beloved of some consultancies. That's where you meet really excellent people at the bid stage, but the people who turn up to implement the project are of a much lower calibre - often a bunch of recent graduates from India, who weren't even hired until you signed up. Project auditing
We were recently asked to supply a team to audit the technical feasibility of a large outsourcing project. We're not naming anyone because we believe in confidentiality.
The prime contractor was proposing a series of significant changes and moving all development offshore.
Our consultants highlighted some areas of risk which had been completely overlooked and also advised our client on the best way to manage the change process.
We were an invaluable part of making sure that the contract was fair to both sides and fully recognised the risks involved in the project.
